FTP prune Publisher's description
from Richard Farthing
FTPprune is a Perl script to manage the size of a remote ftp archive.
FTPprune is a Perl script to manage the size of a remote ftp archive. It was originally developed to manage offsite copies of Zoneminder CCTV events, but can be used with any FTP file archive. FTPprune will go through the archive and remove the oldest files reducing the archive size to a maximum (-m) that you specify, optionally preserving the last (-a) days of files. There are a few other options too - see the wiki for command line usage and Perl modules required.
Prune a remote FTP directory to a specified size, removing oldest first
Keep the last N days of files regardless of directory size
Ignore a specified extension (e.g. for index.html)
System Requirements:No special requirements.
Program Release Status: Major Update
