eWall Publisher's description
eWall is a Microsoft Windows based gateway (or sometimes referred to as SMTP proxy) between the Internet and your mail server.
eWall is a Microsoft Windows based gateway (or sometimes referred to as SMTP proxy) between the Internet and your mail server. It monitors the SMTP traffic in real-time and protects the mail server, catching the majority of spam and viruses. The chain of flexible filters stops more than 95% of unwanted emails out of the box (more than 99% with Message Sniffer), dropping the mail server load by more than 90%.
What's New in This Release:Added external Message Sniffer server. Now you can choose which server instance to run: internal or external. I'd recommend use external SNF server if you have heavy traffic. To switch to external SNF server go to the new tab in Control Panel -> Proxy -> Options -> Message Sniffer and uncheck "internal", then re-start eWall service.
Added new condition for OnMessage event: "if charset is[not] ...", that is triggered if message text parts have any of specified charset(s). This condition can detect emails written in Chinese, Russian, Japanese and other non-latin charsets.
Added repository filter "Block specific charset", which works similar to condition described above.
Added new action "save message to file".
Minor fixes and enhancements.
