One use for this tool is to find a website that has definitions of words in a language you need. If its search url for a word is say.
Adds text you select in a webpage to your URL. Lets you build your own URL Requests to access many web services like word definitions and much more. See description below.
There are all kinds of ways to use this URL request tool. You just simply set the URL and any words you select will be tacked on the end of the URL and sent off. You can also have the selected word inbetween two parts of a long URL. This is set in the Options menu.
Once sent you will get a pop up panel with your definition or other information you want.
Just select a word, right click it and select "Add this text to end of URL Request" or "Add this text in Middle of URL Request" and it will go and get the information.
You can also use CTRL-8 and CTRL-9 to get the info. Selecting CTRL-SHIFT-8 or 9 will put the page into a new tab for you.
Click anywhere outside of the pop up panel to remove it after use.
