Vital Sign Simulator Publisher's description
from Zege Zottel
The vital sign simulator is intended for use in medical emergency training simulations.
The vital sign simulator is intended for use in medical emergency training simulations. In combination with a (cheap) cpr-manikin, it offers a low-cost alternative to commercial high-tech patient simulation manikins. It is used with a split-screen system, one monitor with controls for the operator and one providing the vital signs to the trainees, similar to a bedside-monitor. Heart rate, oxygen saturation, respiratory rate, blood pressure and a non-moving ecg can be set and changed at any time by the operator. A future version may even contain a trainee-side interface for defibrillation, pacing etc.
Please note: The developper is a trained ER-Nurse and simulation instructor, NOT a IT-Specialist. So please excuse the crude programming...
