TclRAL is a "C" based extention of the TCL language that is an implementation of the Relational Algebra.
TclRAL is a "C" based extention of the TCL language that is an implementation of the Relational Algebra. From a programmers point of view, the library is a Tcl package that introduces two new native data types and a set of commands that operate on them. The new data types are:
The library also contains three primary commands each of which is an ensemble of sub commands that are the operations available on the Tuple and Relation type. Other commands are provided to pretty print relation values and load/store sets of relation variables.
tuple - operations on the tuple data type
relvar - operations on variables that contain relations
relation - operations on the relation data type
relformat - generate a human readable tabular layout of a relation
serialize - operations to load/store relation variable data
