managedCUDA aims an easy integration of NvidiaвЂ™s CUDA in .net applications written in C#
managedCUDA aims an easy integration of NvidiaвЂ™s CUDA in .net applications written in C#, Visual Basic or any other .net language. For this it includes:
A complete wrapper for the CUDA Driver API, version 4.0 (a 1:1 representation of cuda.h in C#)
Wrapper for graphics interop with DirectX and OpenGL respectively SlimDX and OpenTK
Based on this, wrapper classes for CUDA context, kernel, device variable, etc.
For example: copy data from host to device looks like CudaDeviceVariable<Type>.CopyToDevice(Type hostArray)
CUDA vector types like int2, float3 etc. with proper ToString() methods and operators (+, вЂ“, *, /)
Define your own types: the CudaDeviceVariable accepts any user defined type if it is a value type, i.e. a struct in C#
CUFFT is completly wrapped, other libraries are work in progressвЂ¦
What's New in This Release:В· Improved stability
В· Handy access to page-locked host memory accompanied by all async cuda capabilities
В· Wrapper classes for DirectX and OpenGL interop.
В· The complete CUDA driver API is now accessible through convenient wrappers. Not one direct API call is needed for anything (if I haven't missed something ;-)
В· ATTENTION: big change! By mistake the order of width and height arguments were sometimes swapped in the previous release. This is now adjusted: It is always first width then height, just as in the original CUDA driver API.
В· Versioning will from now on be associated to CUDA: this release is therefor managedCUDA 4.0.x.y
