Curjent agents are a concurrency mechanism for Java.
Curjent agents are a concurrency mechanism for Java. Create multithreaded active objects using standard Java interfaces and classes without using explicit synchronization, threads, or other concurrency primitives. Writing only to standard Java interfaces, clients of a curjent agent are able to execute commands asynchronously in background threads. The designer of an agent provides one or more interfaces for clients, plus a class that implements those interfaces. The curjent agent library provides the facilities for running and coordinating client calls concurrently in one or more background threads.
Asynchronous and synchronous calls with deadlock detection
Single and multiple coordinated worker threads
