Email Protector for Scripts Publisher's description
from Mike Cherim
Email Protector script protects a single email address from пїЅbots and non-human exploiters
Offering an email address on a web site is akin to asking for spam in your inbox.
This small script protects a single email address from bots and non-human exploiters while still making it available and accessible to people upon request with the simple click of a button.
The utility is also quite accessible by offering the following: A fragment identifier on the form action return to help users locate the relevant data after an action; hover/focus on the subject line input; proper and valid mark-up and; the address available as link and plain text in case a “email me” link wouldn’t do.
This script allows a very simple configuration of the: email address; subject line “tag” (for easy in-box identification or to apply a message rule to); the form’s legend or title; the mark-up language type output and; the option of hiding or displaying the credit link-back. It should be operable within mere minutes.
