he attached ZIP file contains a tutorial for using the SonnetLab Toolbox for MATLABВ®. SonnetLab is a free MATLABВ® toolbox that enables users to control and automate Sonnet's 3D planar electromagnetic simulator.
The attached script will open an existing Sonnet project in the form of a single stub and optimize the length of the stub to provide low return loss at 5 GHz. The original circuit contains a dimension parameter that controls the length of the stub and the optimization routine modifies the parameter’s value to generate ten iterations of the project. The attached archive includes a document that describes every line of code in detail.
This tutorial requires the latest version of SonnetLab. SonnetLab can be downloaded from the Sonnet Software website: http://sonnetsoftware.com/support/sonnet-s.../sonnetlab.html
Please Note: SonnetLab was developed in conjunction with Syracuse University and is not a Sonnet Software supported product. Sonnet Software does not provide any warranty, either expressed or implied, for the SonnetLab toolbox for MATLAB.
System Requirements:1) Sonnet or the free Sonnet Lite http://www.sonnetsoftware.com/products/lite/ 2) SonnetLab (the free Sonnet / Matlab Interface Toolbox) http://sonnetsoftware.com/support/sonnet-suites/sonnetlab.html
