Sometimes it becomes necessary to be on more than one social network should we have to succeed in our business thoughts or else to get into groups if we have passion for new friends. With this reason you might be trying for something good like the Twitter application that has got very famous in the internet society. This desire of yours can be fulfilled with the simple-quick actions for Android 2.1 which will have the possibility to perform quick actions along with having the pop down menu interface actions that are very much similar in look and feel with the twitter application.

The drawback with this software is that, the actions that are provided in this software are not actually included in the framework. This has eventually ended up to be the intentional as the style is dependent on the applications and cannot be considered as purely open source software for which the code is supposed to be open. Of course the individuals who are interested to explore more can try to focus on the mechanics while the styling can be left behind. The sharp brains will always take the good to move forward either in technical or non-technical aspect.

This is a demo Android project showing how it's possible to have QuickActions and Popdown menu interface actions like those in the Twitter App.

After playing with the Twitter for Android app and watching the Google I/O talk I wanted to be able to use some of those UI actions in my applications. The problem is that these actions are not built into the framework. Even though they have promised to open source the code I really wanted to start using them now. The hint that it was possible was when Romain Guy said it was really simple, coupled with the fact that Twitter for Android will run on any 2.0+ device.

This demo project is not meant to be a completely functional UI component that can be dropped directly into your project. It's only meant to display how you can create the same UI elements that were featured in the Twitter for Android app.

This demo code does not look like the Twitter for Android QuickActions? and Popdown menu. This is intentional, as it is style dependent on the application. I left the styling alone and focused solely on the mechanics.
