MoveCM For Mac Publisher's description
from Limit Point Software
MoveCM is a contextual menu, menu bar and service application item for moving, copying, aliasing and archiving
MoveCM is a contextual menu, menu bar and service application item for moving, copying, aliasing and archiving (zip compressing) files and folders quickly into common folders. i.e. without the need to drag and drop them, use aliases, etc. It is a generalization of the Finder's "Move to Trash" contextual menu item, you can apply it to any folder you like.
Preferences. Use the System Preference pane to specify destination folders. The contextual menu or menu bar app will then consist of menu items that correspond to these destinations. Open System Preferences in the Apple menu, then go to the "Other" section.
Add folders either by dragging them from the Finder into the list, or use the "Add" button to browser for them.
You can also Add/Remove folders directly from the contextual menu itself. Just invoke the contextual menu on the folder and select the appropriate menu item.
Re-order the folders in the list table by dragging them to change the display order in the menu.
At the top of the Setting pane are options for specifying which menu items yo want to display in the contextual menu.
At the bottom you will find these options -
Reveal Item In Finder: Show the moved, copied, archived or aliased item.
Name Menu Item After Folder: Menu item names can either match the name of the corresponding folder, or its full pathname.
Make As Submenu: This option puts all the menu items in a submenu of an item called "MoveCM" which conserves space in the cointextual menu.
Include Preferences: Add a command to open the system preference pane for MoveCM.
Play Sound: Select this option to play a sound when the operation is complete. This is useful for operations like archiving or copying which can take a while since MoveCM does not display a progress window.
What's New in This Release:The MoveService window will now always display itself directly beneath the mouse (cursor) position in the Finder. This makes it more convenient to use the contextual menu of the MoveService window because you will not have to move the mouse to access it. (Note that the "Open Move Service Window" command, which is made available by this service, can be assigned a keyboard shortcut in the "Services Preferences" preference pane. Hence using your keyboard shortcut will display the window directly under your mouse.)
System Requirements:Universal Binary, Mac OS X 10.5 and above.
