MySQL++ for Mac Publisher's description
from MySQL++ Team
MySQL++ is a C++ wrapper for MySQL’s C API.
MySQL++ is a C++ wrapper for MySQL’s C API. It is built around the same principles as the Standard C++ Library, to make dealing with the database as easy as dealing with STL containers. In addition, MySQL++ provides facilities that let you avoid the most repetitive sorts of SQL within your own code, providing native C++ interfaces for these common tasks.
What's New in This Release:Default MySQL version now 5.1, having entered GA since 3.0.9.
В· Lots of platform updates tracked, lots of warnings from newer
В· compilers squished. Most by me, some by Adrian Cornish.
В· Added Query::insertfrom(), plus associated classes SQLStream,
В· NoTransactions, and the InsertPolicy hierarchy. Also adds
В· examples/ssqls6.cpp, which shows how to use this new feature.
В· Thanks for this feature go to Rick Gutleber, except for
В· RowCountInsertPolicy, by me.
В· Added comparison operators to tiny_int. Thanks for this patch
В· go to Edward Diener.
В· Added SQLTypeAdapter::is_null(). This lets you retrieve a
В· nullable column from the DB, then re-insert a value from that
В· column back into the DB via a template query without explicit
В· checks for null-ness; it will do the right thing now.
В· Added -f flags to lib/*.pl header file generating scripts to
В· allow overriding the default limit of 25 fields for tqueries
В· and SSQLSes without having to edit the file, as in previous
В· versions of MySQL++. Also added --with-f...
System Requirements:No special requirements.
