This Java library contains a Swing component, JMarkerBar, that visually shows where objects fall in a document and how many objects there are. A stripe of markers is commonly used to show bookmarks, search results, compiler errors, file differences, breakpoints, and anything else found in a document. JMarkerBar is typically placed next to a scrollbar--either vertically or horizontally--and each marker is fully customizable. Markers can have tooltips, and clicking on a marker typically causes a scroll to the relevant location. The library runs on the Java 1.5 (or greater) platform. For more information, see the features, FAQs, tutorial, and API.
