Audiveris For Mac Publisher's description
Audiveris is a complete music scanner going all the way from the scanned music sheet input to the MusicXML output.
* The latest release is Version 3.3 whose main new feature is the ability to inject entities directly into the score structure via drag and drop from a shape palette.
* James Le Cuirot has made the Tesseract OCR features work consistently under both Windows and Linux. Sorry, we have yet no access to Mac OS platform, and we would appreciate contribution there.
* Vladimir Viro has set up an impressive testbed for OMR engines with thousands of inputs from the Petrucci Music Library. This environment will greatly help us improve the recognition ratio of Audiveris.
* Andreas Wenger has provided Zong!, his new MusicXML player still in beta stage, directly integrated with Audiveris.

В· Libraries: All the external jars (23 as of this writing) needed to rebuild and/or run Audiveris are now provided in a dedicated /lib folder available in the download area. A developer can still pick up a newer jar version from the Internet.
В· Player: The XenoPlay MusicXML player has been replaced by a better player, named Zong!, still developed by Andreas Wenger.
В· Bench data: To allow the analysis of multiple batch runs, and compare the recognition e...
