FineryThemes Publisher's description
from Immanuel Peratoner
Modern themes for Ubuntu
FineryThemes is an implementation of fibermarupoks mockup (http://fibermarupok.deviantart.com/art/Ubuntu-Light-Re-Imagined-156152617) created shortly after the new Ubuntu Light Themes were revealed. It also includes a Metacity theme.
If you want to read the whole "story" of what I think about the Radiance theme and how I got to implement this mockup, see here: http://immanuel-peratoner.de/index.php?target=blog&post_id=finery-an-ubuntu-light-theme-as-i-would-have-wis
I've also created a git repository on github: http://github.com/iperatoner/finery-themes
1. Extract the archive
2. Go into the folder "FineryThemes"
3. Install the themes
3.1. ...via gnome-appearance-properties
3.2. ...by extracting the archives and copying the two folders (Finery, FineryDark) to /usr/share/themes
Using the panel background:
If you want to use the panel background, you have to manually set it for each panel. You can find the file after installing the theme either in `~/.themes/Finery/gtk-2.0/Panels` or in `/usr/share/themes/Finery/gtk-2.0/Panels` (if you installed the theme system-wide).
For the dark variant I recommend the default Ambiance panel background in `/usr/share/themes/Ambiance/gtk-2.0`
The dark variant is still in testing, please report any bugs/issues with it at github: http://github.com/iperatoner/finery-themes
What's New in This Release:В· Including dark variant of the theme (testing)
