South African English spell checker is a Firefox dictionary that allows you to use place names, borrowed words and expressions that are uniquely South African.
You'll be using words like braai, wors and lekgotla without annoying squigglies. Use familiar brand names like 5fm, Woolworths and Shoprite.
Translate.org.za has produced this checker so that you can enjoy Firefox, Thunderbird and other Mozilla software with a South African flavour. You can also search and install checkers in the other 11 official South African languages. If you find any missing words then please send them through to us so that we can keep the South African spell checker up-to-date.

What's New in This Release:В· This release includes about 100 new words missing from the common British English wordlist as well some new ones specific to South African English.
