foxiFrame basic for linux Publisher's description
foxiFrame basic is a Firefox extension that enables dragging of Firefox window with any toolbar.
foxiFrame basic is a Firefox extension that enables dragging of Firefox window with any toolbar. Starts Firefox in maximized state without flickering window control buttons can be placed anywhere including tabbar (to use with tabs on top).
There are several addons hiding titlebar of Firefox window. "Hide Caption" ,"Hide Titlebar", "Hide Caption Titlebar Plus (Smart)", "Chromin Frame" and this one.
With these addons os do not recognize firefox as a window and therefore aero-snap, keyboard shortcut's for window management etc. do not work (not a very big price for hiding titlebar though) besides 3.7 will be able draw it's own titlebar and this addons will not be needed.
Here what foxiFrame doe's:
* starts Firefox in maximized state without titlebar flickering,
* enables dragging of Firefox window with any toolbar
* provides bigger handles for diagonal resizing
* has no known conflicts with other addons,
* provides all frame related features: FullScreen, Minimize, Maximize/Restore, Close, and logo buttons.
You can arrange this buttons on your toolbars as you wish using "customize"
and you can put window controls on tabbar using foxiFrame's options dialog)
provides context menu on window control buttons to resize window to screen left right or center (can be used as a crude replacement for aero-snap on the sides).
