Gaming is very interesting topic where as the source to design the coding for the games depends on the compatibility. There are various software source identifications that can be downloaded in order to support the programs.

Quake 4 for GNU / Linux version number 1.42 is the software version tool kit offered for the native clients and the dedicated server. Once we purchase the license of the quake 4 software, it allows us to asset the files through copying them by using a CD key. The system compatibility and the system requirements depend up on the version and it needs the Linux or the GNU operating system as named, and along with the processor of Pentium version of 4 and a hard disk space of 2.0 GHz and 512 mega bytes of RAM, and Athlon XP 2000 processor. The other requirements along with the above discussed configuration it also needs glibrary version of 2.2.4 and kernel 2.4 or 2.6 version as recommended. The Software application is now offered for free of charge that can be downloaded from the following web reference link. The tools of 3D acceleration are not required for the dedicated servers where as the open GL driver is required.
