Efax-gtk for Liniux Publisher's description
from Chris Vine
Efax-gtk is a GUI front end for the 'efax' fax program.
Efax-gtk is a GUI front end for the 'efax' fax program. It can be used to send and receive faxes with a fax modem, and to view, print and manage faxes received. It also has a socket interface to provide a "virtual printer" for sending faxes from word processors and similar programs, and can automatically e-mail a received fax to a designated user, and automatically print a received fax.
To compile and run the current version of efax-gtk, the GTK+ (>= 2.12) and libtiff libraries must be installed. dbus-glib (>= 0.70) is also required if the installed glib is less than 2.26. GTK+ comes with Gnome. Compilation against GTK+3 (>= 2.91.0) is also supported. The c++-gtk-utils library (>= 1.2.7) is used, but if that is not installed then an internal version in the efax-gtk package will be compiled in.
