Because these computers are optimized for use with Windows Vista operating system, some functionality will be lost under Windows XP operating system.

The following applications and utilities may experience functional limitations:

* Hot Keys: Some function keys may not work correctly.
* Special Buttons
* VAIO Power Management: Since the camera driver is not Windows XP WHQL certified, the battery life may be shorter than is normal.

2. Download the REDAUD-15505100-XP.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the REDAUD-15505100-XP.EXE file to begin the installation.
4. At the "Realtek High Definition Audio Driver" screen, click "Next".
5. At the "License Agreement" dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click "I Agree" to continue with the installation.

NOTE: If the "New Hardware Found" wizard screen appears, click "Cancel".
6. When prompted, click "OK" to restart the computer.
