Dell Precision Mobile WorkStation M90 Notebook OpenManage Client Instrumentation 220.127.116.110, A00 for XP
The DellTM OpenManageTM Client Instrumentation (OMCI) software enables remote management application programs to access information about the client system, monitor the status of the client system, or change the state of the system, such as shutting it down remotely. OMCI exposes, through standard interfaces, key system parameters that allow administrators to manage, inventory, monitor the system health of, and gather information on deployed Dell client systems.
Fixes and Enhancements
Changes from 7.3 to 7.4:
- Support has been added for limiting the number of alert notifications sent to the local display and to the local NT event log. These limits can be set differently for each type of alert.
- Support has been added for setting a minimum severity level that an alert must exceed before being sent to the local display or the local NT event log. This severity is set globally for all alerts.
- Support has been added to provide each event type with a unique event ID number so customers can programmatically filter OMCI events in the NT Event Log.
