Dell Latitude E4200 Notebook Backup & Recovery Manager A00 for Vista 32-bit
This is a multi-language Windows Vista 32-bit release of DBRM v1.2.1 for web post only. This release will only update an existing factory installation of DBRM. It will not install and run on a system that did not have a previous version of DBRM.
DBRM v1.2.1 is functionally equivalent to DBRM v1.2 (factory version) with the following exceptions:
1. No pop-up application for customer discovery and reminder messaging.
2. No OS Media.
3. No Dell Factory Image.

Dell recommends the customer review specifics about the update to determine if it applies to your system. The update contains changes that impact only certain configurations, or provides new features that may/may not apply to your environment.
1.Before installing this release on a system with a previous version of DBRM, open the Control Panel and the double-click Add or Remove Programs icon. Remove the previous version of DBRM.
2.The installation screens will be in English only. However once installed, DBRM will launch in the native language.

Custom Instructions for DELL_BACKUP---RECOVERY-MANAG_A00_R254738.EXE:
1.Click Download Now, to download the file.
2.When the File Download window appears, click Save (Windows XP
users will click Save) this program to disk and click OK. The Save In:
3.From the Save In: field, click the down arrow then click to
select Desktop and click Save. The file will download to your desktop.
4.If the Download Complete window appears, click Close. The file
icon appears on your desktop.
1.Before installing on a system with a previous version of DBRM, open the Control Panel and double-click Add or Remove Programs. Remove the previous version of DBRM before continuing.
2.Double-click the new icon on the desktop labeled DELL_BACKUP---RECOVERY-MANAG_A00_R254738.EXE.
3.The Self-Extracting window appears and prompts you to extract or
unzip to C:DELLDRIVERSR254738. Write down this path so the executable (I.e.
Setup.exe) file can be found later.
4.The Self-Extractor window appears.
6.After completing the file extraction, if the Self-Extractor
window is still open, close it.
7.Click the Start button and then click Run.
8.Type C:DELLDRIVERSR254738 in the Open textbox and then click OK.
9.Follow the on-screen installation instructions to complete the installation.
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
