Dell Client Deployment Plugin Installer pack installed as an add-on to Microsoft ConfigMgr 2007 SP2 helps administrators simplify the image deployment process on Dell Systems in their Enterprise Environment. With the plug-in installed, the end user will be able to use the capabilities to:-
1. Import drivers packs released in вЂ?CABвЂ™ format from Dell Support Website
2. Create Windows Vista and XP Deployment task sequence
3. Remotely Configure BIOS using Client Configuration Toolkit

Client Deployment Plug-in is designed to be used in conjuction with Microsoft Windows PE and the System Deployment Driver Packs posted on http://support.dell.com

The driver packs can be located under the Client Systems Management Category.

1. Client Deployment Pack requires Configuration Manager 2007 SP2 to be installed either in Site Server or Administrator Console mode. The installation will block if the pre-requisities aren''''t met.
2. Only the administrator console features will be installed on a system that has ConfigMgr Administrator Console extensions installed.
3. All features will be installed by default on a Site Server.

1.Click Download Now, to download the file.
2.When the File Download window appears, click Save this program to disk (Windows XP users, click Save) and click OK. The Save In: window appears.
3.From the Save In: field, click the down arrow then click to
select Desktop and click Save. The file will download to your desktop.
4.If the Download Complete window appears, click Close. The file name icon appears on your desktop.
1.Double-click the new icon on the desktop labeled DELL_CLIENT-DEPLOYMENT-PACK-_A01_R252752.exe.
The Self-Extractor window appears.
2.Click OK or Continue.
The Self-Extracting Driver Installation window appears and prompts to extract files to C:DELLDRIVERSR252752.
3.Leave all of the default settings and click Unzip or OK. If the directory doesn't exist, you'll be prompted to create one. Click Yes. A Self Extractor window appears and indicates C:DELLDRIVERSR252752 files were extracted.
4.Click OK.Follow the on-screen installation instructions in the window.

1.The Dell Software Installation Documentation window appears.
2.Click the Install Now button. A File Download window appears.
3.Click Run this program from its current location and click OK.The Security Warning window appears.
4.Click Yes. The InstallShield Wizard window appears.
5.Follow the on-screen instructions.
