Installs the IntelВ® Rapid Storage Technology (RAID) driver version 10.6.0.1002 for IntelВ® Desktop Boards.
This driver supports RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10. The driver should be installed after the operating system has been installed. F6 and RAID BIOS configurations need to be performed prior to installation of this driver for proper operation.
For the IntelВ® Desktop Board DZ68DB, this version of the IntelВ® Rapid Storage Technology supports IntelВ® Smart Response Technology (SSD caching). However, you must ensure you have BIOS version 0014 or later installed before you enable the Smart Response Technology. If you enable Smart Response Technology with a BIOS version earlier than 0014, the system may not boot. For information on configuring IntelВ® Smart Response Technology, refer to the User Guide.
How to install
The driver should be installed after the operating system has been installed. F6 and RAID BIOS configurations need to be performed prior to installation of this driver for proper operation. Once the operating system is installed and RAID (0, 5 or 10) has been enabled in the BIOS, double-click downloaded file to launch the driver installation.
Which file to choose
Download the driver (STOR_allOS_10.6.0.1002_PV.exe) and one of the following F6 Driver Diskettes (depending on your operating system):
STOR_XP32_10.6.0.1002_PV.zip - for 32-bit versions of Windows 7*, Windows Vista* or Windows XP*
STOR_XP64_10.6.0.1002_PV.zip - for 64-bit versions of Windows 7, Windows Vista or Windows XP
